EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State program and the official source of information on U.S. higher education. EducationUSA India is a U.S. Mission-supported platform that advances U.S. leadership in research, innovation, and higher education. We connect India’s academic and research ecosystem with American excellence, aligned with U.S. foreign policy and public diplomacy priorities.

In India, the EducationUSA program is offered at four centers across Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi.

EducationUSA India's three core priorities are:

• Advancing U.S. innovation and economic prosperity
• Preventing illegal immigration, misuse of the student pathway, and protecting the integrity of the U.S. immigration system
• Strengthening strategic academic engagement with India, such as research collaborations, institutional partnerships, and more

In India, the EducationUSA program has a nationwide presence, with a dedicated, seasoned team headquartered in New Delhi and in centers at Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

The team members are part of the global EducationUSA network, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State committed to promoting excellence and leadership in the U.S. All advisers undergo rigorous training approved by the U.S. Department of State and participate regularly in professional conferences and higher education forums to remain aligned with global best practices and emerging trends.

With a strong foundation in international education and cross-cultural collaboration, the EducationUSA India team works closely with stakeholders across India and the United States to advance meaningful academic partnerships and engagement initiatives.
